LAURENCE BRAHM'S SHORT FILM "THE COINS" POSTER

Directed by my good friend Laurence Brahm, “The Coins” was a short movie that went on to win an award from The Festigious Film Festival and the Los Angeles Film Awards. The brief requested a poster that displayed all the characters from the movie. I aimed for an almost seamless design when showcasing the characters, hence the minimal line art and how the characters stem from the purple half of the poster. The other version of the poster aimed to be a more abstract version. The premise of the film follows a few coins that make their way from character to character, which is what I reflected with the hand dropping coins to the other coins. The poster was illustrated in Illustrator. The layout was pieced together via InDesign.
