Airheart Band Logo Design

Airheart is a up and coming Sydney-based rock band, and upon the release of their latest single “Sylvia” required a band logo. They requested a simple logo incorporating bold typography (like the logo for Kiss, The Beatles, etc.). The challenge was to keep it simple but also make it bold and stand out. To achieve this, I experimented with warping the text, different fonts, offsetting the stroke, etc. The wave effect and other elements aimed to reflect “air”.

The lowercase cursive style font was the favourite, and the love heart at the end adds flair to the logo, almost like signing off a card with “much love, xo”. The band requested experimenting with different pop art colours. The colours can also be changed to fit the surrounding design.
